Steam regulating valves are pressure-reducing
diaphragm valves that with primary steam pressure can reduce secondary pressure through air pressure supplied by a control air port.
In tire-curing presses they are used where shaping
pressure is generated by steam, and because our
regulating valves are constructed with a soft seal
using special resin in the valve seat, very fine pressure control is possible. Furthermore, primary steam emerges through the center seat orifice as secondary and enables accurate pressure reduction and the prevention of chattering
from the expansion of large bodies of gas such as steam.
