A 4-way piston valve is an air-driven changeover
valve for water pressure cylinders in tire-curing
presses.
Single- and double-acting valves have the same
construction, with single-acting becoming
double-acting with the removal of springs and
plugs. In addition, a leak inspection port enables
determination of any internal seal leakage.
